All accounted for!

14 members of the Club including our Trip Captains Vicki Koebernick and Amy Fahey made the trek the weekend of June 27th to float the scenic wilds of northern Nebraska. Our base of operations was Rocky Ford Camp and Canoe Base, about 30 miles south east of Valentine, Nebraska. Folks drove over Friday night, floated Saturday, and then made their way back on Sunday.

The quick recap is there were 9 yakers and 5 tubers. The float from the put-ins (which was different depending on the means of transportation) back to Rocky Ford took just under 5 hours. As it was partially cloudy and a tad bit of breeze - guess who got colder!

Regardless, no beverages were consumed nor did anyone fall into the water - yeah, right! Glad everyone survived and is now thawed out...
